Santa Ana-based SaviCorp was named Breakthrough Innovator of the Year and received a Corporate Excellence Award during the Asian Business Association of Orange County’s (ABAOC) 16th Annual Recognition Gala. For the first year, the ABAOC awarded businesses for their economic contributions both locally and nationally.
The ABAOC recognized SaviCorp for the design, development and marketing of SaviCorp’s award-winning DynoValve. The DynoValve is the only electronic positive crankcase valve (PCV) that has been shown to reduce emissions in vehicles by 50 to 90 percent. It reduces maintenance and fuel costs and has an executive order from the Air Resources Board of California.
Serge Monros, SaviCorp’s founder and CEO and the inventor of the DynoValve, accepted the award at the Magic Ballroom of the Disneyland Hotel on Nov 19.
"It's not about me – it's about my team and the DynoValve products," said Monros. "On behalf of SaviCorp, we'll continue to bring our community and our nation innovative technologies that will change how we think about our environment, our fuel and our vehicles."
This year’s Recognition Gala was sponsored by Disneyland Resorts and featured John Chiang, California controller, as its keynote speaker.
"Especially during these tough economic times, ABAOC's efforts in promoting business opportunities in Orange County are even more important," said Chiang.
