The Bedside Trust, an organizational development company established by medical professionals, has selected Socialcast of Irvine to provide its innovative corporate community platform.

Created in cooperation with Socialcast, The Bedside Trust Community is designed as a forum where leaders in the health care industry can share ideas and insights and pose questions to a faculty of nationally recognized industry experts at bedsidetrust.socialcast.com.

The Bedside Trust designs solutions specifically for the healthcare industry by working with medical teams that are seeking to recruit and retain medical staff, establish lasting and effective process improvements and develop physician leadership programs to build dynamic, high-performance medical communities.

The new community will provide an open network for physicians and healthcare executives to discuss the latest technologies, treatment plans and best practices in addition to providing a positive patient experience.

“Enterprise social media tools maximize efficiency for healthcare companies and The Bedside Trust is working hard to provide the latest technology for its clients,” says Tim Young, CEO of Socialcast. “Socialcast is excited to continue to work with The Bedside Trust to create an effective network for knowledge sharing, aggregating and broadcasting information within the medical field. We believe the healthcare industry will benefit greatly from a forum in which to share tactics, strategies and tools for relational development in order to enhance the patient experience.”

Socialcast is an on-demand platform that provides corporations of all sizes with a way to engage employees and capture the knowledge and innovation of their workforce. The site uses the cutting-edge innovation with features such as microblogging, integration with iPhone, Gmail and Jabber, as well as the ability for users to import activity from third-party services, including Digg, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube.
