Spa Gregorie’s ultimate facial

I walked out of Spa Gregorie’s looking 10 years younger – I swear, I did. And there were no needles or lasers or knives required. This place has tapped into the fountain of youth by way of its Ultimate Signature Facial and a little device called NuFace.
Naturally, a visit to any day spa will work wonders on a girl’s body, mind and spirit – no matter what the treatment. But spend 90 minutes at Spa Gregorie’s getting one of these facials, and you’ll be skipping to your car and smiling for the rest of the day.
I was skeptical at first. I wasn’t convinced that this little hand-held device and the prickly electric jolts it sends through the skin could really lift and tone the muscles of my face. But it was worth a try.
The treatment process goes as you would expect – a microderm exfoliation to peel away dull layers of skin, followed by a few minutes under the steamer and a gentle clearing of congested pores. But the products feel different. They contain botanical peptides to stimulate cell renewal, collagen to replenish elasticity, and the antioxidant properties of acai, gogi berry, noni and pomegranate. They’re rich and nourishing, and the facial massage that comes along with them is enough to put you in the zone – that near-sleep state where your mind is void of thought and your body is completely relaxed. I love that place. (Oh, you also get a hand and foot massage, too.)
The NuFace device provides the dramatic ending. Your esthetician rolls the two round probes in an upward sweep along your neck, chin, cheeks, eye sockets and forehead, working on one-half of your face at a time. Midway through, she hands you a mirror to marvel over the results.
A word of caution and a tip: If you’ve had a lot of Botox or fillers, the results might not be as dramatic. But if the needle hasn’t yet become your best friend, then book one of these treatments the day of your next big event. You’ll look and feel fabulous, and everyone will notice.
