Sparkoc.com brings O.C. art to the Web
The project from Arts Orange County and Orange County Community Foundation is an online source for arts events.

Arts Orange County and Orange County Community Foundation are teaming up to bring O.C. visitors and residents an up-to-date arts listing through their Web site, sparkoc.com.
The site is a resource filled with performances, exhibitions, theater, dance and musical events from more than 140 arts venues and organizations in Orange County. Sparkoc.com also features events aimed at children and family such as classes and workshops, as well as programs exclusively about Orange County.
Through the site, both organizations hope to increase awareness, attendance at events and appreciation of art. And at a time when many institutions are struggling from slow ticket sales and few donor contributions, it can only help.
“The goal of sparkoc.com is to inspire a groundswell of creativity and imagination throughout Orange County by increasing involvement with the arts,” says Richard Stein, executive director of Arts Orange County.
