Irvine-based Susan’s Healthy Gourmet has revealed its new menu for 2012, offering more meal choices and flexibility in ordering. The healthy meal delivery company distributes food to homes and workplaces throughout Southern California, providing more than 150 healthy choices for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
The new menu items include exotic flavor combinations such as chicken mango walnut salad with mango yogurt dressing, a basil chicken ciabatta sandwich and a black bean and sweet potato burrito.
Susan’s Healthy Gourmet offers vegetarian, low carbohydrate, low cholesterol and diabetic meals, catering to a wide range of diners seeking healthy options. Two portion sizes of 400 and 550 calories, as well as 100-200 calorie snacks, allow customers to choose the option that suits their diet.
“We have always been known for allowing our customers to choose what they want, not what we want to give them. We are known for flexibility and variety. And this year, we have taken that one step further—with even more options for how, when and what they wish to enjoy from our menus,” said Susan’s Healthy Gourmet founder and CEO Susan Johnson.
Susan’s Healthy Gourmet meals are made without trans fats, preservatives and artificial ingredients. The company strives to use fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as ingredients from local vendors.
