T3 Motion signs contract with Singapore Police Department
The electric vehicles will be used to patrol Changi Airport

T3 Motion, a Costa Mesa-based designer and manufacturer of environmentally friendly personal vehicles, has been contracted by the Singapore Police Department to provide its electric vehicles for Singapore’s Changi International Airport. Singapore police will use the 12 T3 Electric Stand-up Vehicles (ESV) to patrol the airport, lowering operating costs while expanding their patrol’s capabilities.
"As the seventh busiest international terminal in the world, this Changi Airport deployment is in line with our global branding strategy, increasing sales and raising global awareness of our company," said T3 Motion CEO Ki Nam, a 2011 OC METRO Hot 25 honoree.
T3 has supplied more than 30 countries with 3,000 of its electric vehicles, and has previously partnered with Singapore Grand Prix. Its extensive client base consists of international companies in countries like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Chile and Mexico, as well as domestic clients, including American universities and airports, the Disneyland Resort and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
