T3 Motion creates new consumer vehicles division
Ki Nam, the company’s founder, will serve as CEO of R3 Motion

Costa Mesa-based T3 Motion, a manufacturer of transportation technology for law enforcement and security agencies, has named Ki Nam the new CEO for R3 Motion, a T3 Motion subsidiary that will focus on the production and development of an electric consumer vehicle.
A part of Nam’s role with R3 Motion will be to seek joint venture partners and begin work on the two-passenger automobile. Nam has resigned from his previous role as an officer and chairman of T3 Motion to focus his efforts on his new administrative position at R3 Motion. However, Nam will continue to serve the O.C. company as a director and advisor.
"We are confident that Ki Nam's unique vision and entrepreneurial expertise will ensure great success with R3 Motion,” said Rod Keller, chief executive officer of T3 Motion. “T3 Motion will continue to focus on expanding our patented award-winning products to commercial markets and we look forward to faster growth and improved financial performance in the months ahead.”
Because of its affiliation with T3 Motion, R3 Motion will have an exclusive licensing agreement and become the marketing agent for its parent company in Korea.
T3 series products focus on creating clean energy vehicles that are cost-effective, like the R3. The products are all-electric and produce zero gas emissions.
