T3 Motion expands global presence to South Africa
The latest contract for the Costa Mesa-based firm marks its first partnership on that continent.

T3 Motion has expanded its global presence through a new partnership with Intense Protection & Tourist Services, a private security firm out of South Africa. Intense Protection & Tourist Services becomes the latest distributor of the iconic T3 i-Series Electric Stand-up Vehicle (ESV), designed for law enforcement and security agencies.
The agreement provides Intense Protection & Tourist Services with multiple T3 i-Series ESVs and allows the firm exclusive distribution rights in South Africa.
This latest contract puts T3 Motion’s market expansion on six of seven continents. Ki Nam, the company’s CEO, said it was the “next milestone” in the firm’s market strategy.
"Since 2007, we have successfully implemented our market strategy, first on the domestic front and now as a global brand,” Nam said. “T3 Motion's partnership with South Africa solidifies this milestone, and we look forward to deploying clean-energy vehicles globally with the added benefit of reducing CO2 emissions."
