The bell and the cube could be symbols on a slot machine, but for the last decade, they’ve symbolized an enduring corporate partnership that has brought interactive fun and education to millions of children and adults alike.

Orange County’s only Smithsonian Affiliate, Taco Bell Discovery Science Center, is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The center’s birthday theme is “Celebrating Science – a Decade of Discovery” as The Cube turns 10!

The center opened December 1998 with major support provided by the community and corporate donors, most notably, Taco Bell. The primary building was named after the Taco Bell Corporation because of its initial donation. Its continued support makes it the center’s largest annual donor.
