Taco Bell launches reassurance campaign

The Irvine-based quick-serve restaurant chain also calls for an apology over lawsuit.

Irvine-based Taco Bell recently launched a national ad campaign to assure customers that its ingredients, products and advertising strategies have been consistent in quality, and it calls for an apology from an Alabama-based law firm that filed a class-action lawsuit against the company.

Earlier this week, the Beasley Allen firm voluntary dropped the suit, which raised questions about Taco Bell’s product quality and advertising integrity.

“We stand behind the quality of every single one of our ingredients, including our seasoned beef, and we want consumers to know that we didn’t change our marketing or product, because we’ve always been completely transparent,” said Greg Creed, CEO of Taco Bell.

Creed recorded a YouTube video echoing that statement.
