TechSpace acquires new facility in Westwood

The Aliso Viejo-based company offers 'alternative office space.'

By Larry UrishPublished: January 14, 2010

TechSpace Holding Co., an Aliso Viejo-based provider of “alternative office space,” today announced the expansion of its operations to Westwood. Located on the 17th floor of Equity Office Properties’ Westwood Center, the 20,000-square-foot facility has been in operation since the dot-com boom.

Formerly known as Nextspace before it’s acquisition by TechSpace, the company furnishes workspaces that provide a number of unique features, including work areas divided into different size “modules” and mobile furniture to allow for increased flexibility. In addition, each office includes traditional features: a central area with a main conference room, a server room and a lounge.

According to TechSpace, these “non-traditional elements” allow office occupants to preserve capital while reducing expenses.
