![]() When I fly, JWA is my runway of choice. But it’s not because of the fan-friendly amenities in the twin terminals. It’s convenience, pure and simple. But now supervisors have a chance to win my heart. On Dec. 7, they can do something to cement their legacy as hospitality visionaries. They can score planeloads of frequent-flyer points with many of the nearly 9 million passengers who step on and off the jet ways at JWA annually. The five supervisors have the rare opportunity to serve hassled and hungry flyers something that is 100 percent certifiable Orange County – some real O.C. culture, if you please. Supervisors, are you ready? Here comes my best pitch: Put Wahoo’s Fish Taco in your food lineup. You are spending $543 million to expand and make over your undersized and amenity-starved facility. So be bold when you taste-test the consortium of hospitality concessionaires who are vying to have their restaurants parked permanently at the soon-to-be Taj Mahal of air transportation. |
