In 2008, the company held a space-planning design competition centered on Thermador’s modular column refrigeration system. “This year, we’ve made it easier than ever before for design professionals to create an entire Thermador kitchen by opening the contest up to our line of cooking, cleaning, refrigeration and ventilation products,” says Elkin. Thermador, launched more than 75 years ago, created the world’s first wall ovens. It is a division of BSH Home Appliance Group, a subsidiary of Bosch and Siemens Home Appliance Group.
