Huntington Beach-based KOCE-TV's OC Channel is expanding its broadcast range and viewership to cover all of Orange County. Starting March 11, OC Channel will be available through Time Warner Cable, in addition to Cox Communications and Verizon Fios.

OC Channel was launched in 2007 through a collaboration with Chapman University. The PBS channel delivers localized content 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

“We are pleased to join in partnership with KOCE-TV to make this possible,” says Chapman University President Jim Doti. “The OC Channel will allow Chapman University students the opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the technology-driven television industry, and provide an outlet to share their work with a wider audience.”

The university is contributing filmmakers, state-of-the-art production resources and Orange County-related feature segments from the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts.
