Toshiba America Business Solutions expands its business through new organization

The company’s new project will focus on strengthening its services

Irvine-based Toshiba America Business Solutions, an independent company of Toshiba Corporation, has launched Toshiba Managed Business Services to expand its business. The new independent organization aims to strengthen current business offerings in document services, managed print services (MPS), document security, and more.

“Toshiba America Business Solutions is investing in a new service-led business organization to take full advantage of the expanding MPS market and high-growth market segments such as digital signage,” said Bill Melo, vice president of marketing, services and solutions at Toshiba America Business Solutions, and general manager at Toshiba Managed Business Services. “Toshiba Managed Business Services will offer a portfolio of business services managed by a dedicated team with industry expertise to help today’s enterprises achieve their business objectives.”

Melo will lead the new branch of the company out of Toshiba America Business Solutions’ headquarters in Irvine. Managing daily operations will be Chris Applegate, in the role of director of enterprise services.

The executive leadership will be supported by an already-established national team of sales, design, integration, business analysis and product customization professionals. The new organization’s team will offer consultations to customers about topics including printing cost management, document workflow, and sales.
