![]() A Toshiba Vantage MRI system The $3 million facility will house Toshiba’s current medical imaging systems, including Vantage Titan 3T wide-bore MR units and various Vantage Titan 1.5T MR system configurations. The installed systems will furnish training opportunities for Toshiba’s U.S.-based and international clients. Outfitting the facility with the company’s latest product line also gives potential clients the opportunity to try out systems and specific configurations before purchasing. “The goal of the Toshiba MR Research Center is two-fold: to fuel research with our customer partners in order to advance MR imaging, and to offer customers an exceptional, hands-on training experience,” said Stuart Clarkson, director of Toshiba’s MR Business Unit. “Toshiba’s investment in the MR Research Center illustrates its commitment to helping customers maximize their MR systems as well as Toshiba’s mission to be leaders in innovation.” The research side of the new facility will hinge on customer partnerships to help determine what technologies are needed and develop new products to meet the demands of modern healthcare.
