Toshiba Medical expanding product lines
The Tustin-based medical technology leader is partnering with Sweden-based Marquet.

Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. is partnering with surgical table manufacturer MAQUET, to provide new solutions for Toshiba’s Infinix-i product line. The result will combine the unparalleled image quality and versatility of Toshiba’s Infinix-i line with MAQUET’s range of medical tabletop products.
The Toshiba/MAQUET hybrid operating room is the only solution to offer interchangeable tabletops, providing greater versatility for the specialized operating suites. The systems allow for the performance of multiple diagnostic and intervention procedures in one location.
“The Toshiba and MAQUET partnership provides physicians with a single system for imaging and surgical procedures, without compromising image quality or safety,” says Robert Micer, director, X-ray Vascular Business Unit, Toshiba. “Not only does this partnership help improve patient care and access, it offers better asset utilization for hospitals.”
