Irvine-based Toyota Material Handling USA (TMHU) recently completed its annual Voice of the Customer (VOC) survey program for 2008 as its ongoing commitment to superior service.

The results released Wednesday verify that the company has top-ranking levels in the 90th percentile for sales and service, service and parts and overall product experience. With 92 and 93 ratings in the three survey areas, the ratings are the highest levels Toyota has scored.

Managed by a third-part vendor, the VOC program has tracked survey responses from Toyota lift truck customers since 2003. A combination of scoring and open-ended questions is used to determine customer satisfaction levels.

Three different surveys measure customers’ total experience with TMHU in sales and delivery, service and parts and overall product satisfaction.

For 2008, the sales and delivery survey indicated a customer satisfaction rating of 92 percent and service and parts and product experience both score 93 percent. Additionally, 92 percent of respondents indicated that they would purchase another Toyota.
