It will provide training and mentoring in creating and maintaining client relationships. “The FPA Residency Program provides professionals like me with the tools that I can use to listen and interact with clients to best determine their goals,” said Johnny Roland, an FPA Residency Program 2011 participant. Attendees will be able to work with industry executives from companies such as Lighthouse Financial Planning, Meritas Wealth Management, Aspiriant and Mosiac Financial Planners, as well as Financial Planning Association Residency deans. “CFP professionals who attend the FPA Residency Program will benefit from credibility and reputation of the dean and mentors and learn how to focus on client communication and interaction skills,” said Tom Pokladowski, Esq., director of law, finance and business programs at UC Irvine Extension.
