![]() The curriculum will teach students to utilize social media, analyze Internet trends and employ search engine marketing tactics to leverage Internet platforms and acquire, convert and retain online customers. Individuals in the program will learn about viral media marketing, including display advertising, e-mail, mobile and online video. Courses will demonstrate how delivering a consistent message via effective storytelling can engage audiences across media channels. The program is made up of six required courses and electives with a minimum of five units and 160 hours of instruction. Some of the offerings include Site Optimization and Personalization, Online Analytics and Measurement, Planning and Developing Your Search Engine Marketing Strategy, and Transmedia Marketing Through Storytelling.
