UCI Extension, Cal Lutheran University partner up
The two universities are collaborating to produce new options for individuals in the financial planning field.

UC Irvine Extension and California Lutheran University and its Institute of Finance in Thousand Oaks are teaming up to create new opportunities for those interested in obtaining a Master of Business Administration in financial planning.
The agreement lets students who complete the Personal Financial Program from UC Irvine Extension transfer up to five courses toward a MBA in Financial Planning at California Lutheran. Students can complete both programs online.
The partnership is expected to increase the career choices and options for individuals who obtain both degrees. This is the first MBA agreement available at UC Irvine Extension, as well as the first graduate-level agreement at CLU.
Graduates from UCI's program can begin the MBA process in January 2009.
