Irvine-based Ultimate Ears, a unit of Logitech, is introducing its newest innovation for the music industry: Ultimate Ears 18 Pro Custom Monitors.

The firm unveiled the new product during the NAMM – National Association of Music Merchants – Show, which kicked off Thursday in Anaheim.

The monitors are designed and adapted for both performing artists and music lovers. Customized for personal comfort, the product reduces ambient noise by 26 decibels. The custom monitors use a six-speaker design that fits individually tuned drivers in each ear. This technology distributes a flawless on-stage sound and provides a better performance with any sound range.

“Ultimate Ears is synonymous with live-stage performance, and the Ultimate Ears 18 Pro Monitors are an extension of this lineage,” says Philippe Depallens, Logitech vice president and general manager of the Ultimate Ears product unit.
