The afternoon’s keynote will come from Mark Stevens of Sequoia Capital. Throughout his career, Stevens has left his mark on some of the high-tech industry’s most successful investments, such as Google, Yahoo, NVIDIA and YouTube. For the third year in a row, OCTANe will include its Innovation Report, an overview of cutting-edge developments and entrepreneurship in the county. In addition, a panel of venture capitalists will discuss a variety of topics related to the local market. Entrepreneurs will be able to meet with potential investors in a few rounds of VC Speed Dating or sit back and watch 14 preselected companies present their plans in front of an audience of venture capitalists.
