VIZIO nominated in four categories at the Stevie Awards
The company’s South Dakota division is recognized for its stellar customer service.

Irvine-based VIZIO's Dakota Dunes Contact Center has been named a finalist for Contact Center
of the Year, Best Use of Technology in Customer Service, Young Customer
Service Professional of the Year and Customer Service Team of the Year. The consumer electronics firm will be represented at the 6th annual Stevie Awards by its South Dakota division.
“Our U.S.-based team is dedicated to meeting the satisfaction of our customers, and we are humbled to be recognized for these accolades,” said Rob Brinkman, VIZIO’s chief administrative officer.
The judging committee is made up of more than 100 members in seven different committees. Their final judging began on Jan. 30 and will continue through Feb. 10. The winners will be announced during a gala banquet on Feb.27 at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
“We're delighted to kick off our celebration of the 10th year of the Stevie Awards movement with the 2012 Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service, which will be the first program in which we'll bestow Silver and Bronze Stevie Awards,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the event.
This year, more than 1,000 competition entries were submitted, which is a 30 percent increase from last year.
“We are truly honored to be acknowledged for our sales and customer service excellence,” said Brinkman. “This is a testament to our team's relentless pursuit to provide the best service to VIZIO consumers.”
