Hoag Hospital gets new Vizio televisions
The new donated flat-panel TVs are installed at the Newport Beach and Irvine medical centers.

Thanks to a donation partnership between Hoag Hospital’s 552 Club support group and Irvine-based Vizio, patients and families doing business at Hoag’s Newport Beach and Irvine medical centers will be able to enjoy watching programs on new flat-screen televisions.
Several of the TVs were installed in time for Hoag Hospital Irvine’s grand opening earlier this month. Others have since been placed in the Judy & Richard Voltmer Sleep Center, Hoag Hospital Newport Beach’s Emergency Department and the Hoag Neurosciences Institute, also in Newport.
“In addition to our vision of improving the lives of our customers through better products and service, our involvement with Hoag Hospital Irvine and the 552 Club allows us to improve the quality of life in our community for years to come,” says Vizio CFO Kyle Wescoat.
The 552 Club has raised more than $37 million for Hoag Hospital.
Vizio is a top-selling brand of flat-panel high-definition televisions, DVD players and home-theater accessories.
