Voit directs $12.9 million in real estate transactions

The 7 deals negotiated by the Newport Beach firm include commercial property sales and leases.

Newport Beach-based Voit Real Estate Services has negotiated $12.9 million in commercial real estate sales and leases during October and November, including the sale of a 20,525-square-foot office/lab facility in Cypress for $3.2 million and a six-year lease renewal on a 63,532-quare-foot industrial property in Anaheim for $2.1 million.

Voit also negotiated a $1.6 million seven-year lease on a 50,494-square-foot property in La Mirada that will allow Vend Catering, a vending machine supply company, to relocate its headquarters from Santa Fe Springs. It’s a move that Voit Senior Vice President Luke McDaniel says allows the company to gain more space while maintaining low occupancy costs.

“Vend Catering Supply was looking to acquire an alternative property, but Voit demonstrated the savings available by leasing this property and negotiated a contract that significantly lowered their occupancy costs,” McDaniel says.

Here’s a breakdown of all seven of the Voit-directed transactions:

•    The sale of a 20,525-square-foot office/lab property at 10700 Walker St. in Cypress for $3.2 million

•    The sale of a 5,000-square-foot retail property at 16401 Beach Blvd. in Huntington Beach for $2.6 million

•    A 10-year lease on a 5,456-square-foot property at 130 Chaparral Court in Anaheim for $1.2 million

•    A seven-year lease on a 50,494-square-foot industrial property at 14455 Industrial Circle in La Mirada for $1.6 million

•    A six-year lease renewal on a 63,532-square-foot industrial property at 1051 S. East St. in Anaheim for $2.1 million

•    A 76-month lease on an 18,000-square-foot industrial property at 2485 Da Vinci in Irvine for $1 million

•    A 35-month lease on a 98,377-square-foot industrial property at 9603 John St. in Santa Fe Springs for $1.2 million (the new lease covers only 54 percent of the property)
