Bacozone signed a lease for this space on Belgrave.
Voit Real Estate Services' Commercial Brokerage division has directed two of the largest company expansions in Garden Grove this year. And it's positive news for the commercial real estate industry, which is suffering under the weight of the economic downturn.

Corix Utilities U.S. Inc. signed a three-year lease for a nearly 63,000-square-foot industrial property on Monarch Street. The new lease was also the third largest signed in West O.C. in 2009, according to Voit.

Corix, which specializes in building and managing infrastructure for water, wastewater and sustainable energy, will use the building for its utility vehicle fleet. The firm is contracting with Southern California Edison as part of its program to upgrade 5 million electric meters to Smart Meters, which offer energy efficiency and cost-saving options to customers.

Online-bookseller Bacozone Inc. also signed a lease, this one for five years on a 30,000-square-foot industrial property on Belgrave Avenue. The company will store books in the warehouse.
