Santa Ana-based Wahoo's Fish Taco is ramping up its growth strategy: The company has named Tom Orbe vice president of its new franchise expansion program.
Orbe, who owns and operates the Temecula store, will drive the growth of Wahoo's across the U.S. His work as a franchisee has given him extensive experience and understanding of Wahoo's culture and dynamics.
"Expanding Wahoo's will meet the demand we have in communities throughout the nation for our signature homemade food and family-friendly atmosphere,” says Orbe. “I am happy to join the restaurant’s creative, progressive team and look forward to extending the success I have experienced with Wahoo’s to the new franchise owners.”
Prior to his work with Wahoo's, he served as vice president of sales, product development and marketing for Kawasaki Motors Corp. USA. Orbe was first drawn to Wahoo's by its affordable, tasty cuisine, as well as its support of the booming action-sports industry.
