As part of Operation Christmas for Our Troops & Their Families, 15 Wal-Mart locations throughout Southern California are serving as donation spots for people to drop off new, unwrapped gifts to local active duty and reserve military members, as well as their families.

Wal-Mart locations in Huntington Beach, Brea, Orange, Laguna Niguel, Santa Ana, Foothill Ranch and Westminster are participating in the program. Volunteers from Yellow Ribbon America – which is running the drive – will be outside these stores through Dec. 21 collecting toys, DVDs, diapers, calling cards and other necessities.

In the last four years alone, Yellow Ribbon America, a nonprofit organization helping the nation's military, has collected more than 247,000 donations statewide in support of Operation Christmas.
