WebVisible set to hire more employees
The local Internet-ad firm’s upcoming job fair will help to fill 75 new positions.

Irvine-based WebVisible, a marketing firm that helps small- and medium-sized businesses increase their online presence and better target prospective ad clients, will host its second job fair to fill 75 positions at its Irvine and Los Angeles offices.
The available positions range from sales and information technology to software engineering and product design. (More than 50 sales positions are available.) Those interested may apply online. Qualified candidates will be asked for a phone interview, and those who advance will be invited to the job fair.
The event is slated for Tuesday, May 25, from 4 to 8 p.m. in Playa Vista.
Last month, WebVisible’s job fair drew more than 600 applicants, with 100 attending the fair and 15 people hired.
“We are growing extremely fast, and we expect to more than double our employee base this year,” said Veena Chillar, WebVisible’s vice president of human resources. “The job fair approach has been working well for us – it’s a great way for us to get to know the applicants and for them to get a glimpse into our culture. We create a fun and supportive atmosphere, designed to build community and help people thrive in their careers. We’re excited to expand our presence into Los Angeles County and the heart of Playa Vista.”
WebVisible was founded in 2001 and has served more than 100,000 businesses in 14 countries. The company’s Geneva software platform was named 2008 Internet Product of the Year by the American Electronics Association.
