The West Anaheim Medical Center marked the opening of its new Spinal Program last week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the entrance of the new department on Thursday Nov. 8.
“We have an important responsibility to the communities we serve to carry out our mission of providing comprehensive, quality healthcare in a convenient, compassionate and cost effective manner, which this new department enables us to do,” said Virg Narbutas, CEO of the hospital. “The future of healthcare is here in Anaheim today, with a full range of technologically advanced, patient friendly clinical services provided by an extremely talented medical and hospital staff.”
The celebration continued after the ribbon cutting with refreshments and dessert in the hospital’s East Wing. The 200 attendees were invited to take staff-guided tours of the hospital to discover all there was to offer.
The new spinal program, which has been seeing patients over the last month, is home to two private operating rooms, state-of-the-art equipment and a rehabilitation plan, supporting quick return to normal life. The department’s features include the latest trends in healthcare design to promote a more comfortable, relaxed hospital stay.
