The ovens at Wonderland Bakery are all fired up for baking President Obama’s favorite sugar cookie to be handed out at an Obama Victory Fundraiser being held on Feb. 16 in Corona del Mar.

The cookies are created with state-of-the-art edible technology, wrapped with a blue ribbon –– presidential blue, of course –– and embellished with the Presidential Seal.

“Wonderland is an enchanting experience for the young, young at heart, anyone with a sweet tooth, including our president, and we look forward to his visit,” said Allyson Ames, founder of Wonderland Bakery.

The president first had a taste of Wonderland cookies when one of the bakery’s celebrity clients sent him gingerbread and sugar cookies during the 2008 holidays. The following years, Wonderland Bakery baked and shipped cookies for the 2009 Presidential Inauguration Gala and then for the President’s Committee on Arts and Humanities in 2010.

“Although we are a non-partisan bakery, we are grateful President Obama has ‘good taste’ and we are honored that he has selected our cookies as the White House favorite,” Ames said.

Wonderland Bakery has also been recognized for its Major League Baseball’s Official All Star cookie and was named the best gingerbread cookie by the talk show, The View.

The Presidential Cookies are baked daily and available in store on online for nationwide delivery.
