Association for Corporate Growth Orange County honors local firms
The Annual Awards event is set for Thursday at the Island Hotel Newport Beach.

The Association for Corporate Growth Orange County (ACG O.C.) will honor 17 companies – including 15 local firms – during its Annual Awards event, set for Thursday at the Island Hotel Newport Beach.
Among this year's finalists: Aliso Viejo-based Clarient, Irvine-based Kelley Blue Book and Santa Ana-based Wahoo's Fish Taco. Finalists will be recognized with awards in seven categories, including social responsibility, emerging growth, founders, spotlight deal of the year, reinventing, green and global growth merit.
“We’re very excited to be hosting the 16th annual ACG Awards event," said ACG O.C. President Lloyd Miller, regional private equity practice leader for McGladrey. "With the economy having gone through a very challenging period, the current honorees are particularly noteworthy for continuing to grow their businesses and thrive."
In addition, ACG O.C. will present Jim Scheinkman of Snell & Wilmer with the Nick Yocca Award of Distinction and Merit. He will be recognized for his continued contribution and dedication to the local chapter of the global association for professionals working in corporate growth and development, and mergers and acquisitions.
OC METRO Publisher and Churm Media CEO Steve Churm will emcee the event.
