According to the company, the concept store is intended to deliver a much more intimate shopping experience for customers. The very latest arrivals are showcased on mannequins in a runway-type setting in the middle of the store. Crystal chandeliers and proprietary lighting were brought in to crate a warm and inviting atmosphere. And while the dressing rooms feature ottomans and floral wall coverings the lounge-like dressing area features a multi-channel touch screen device that enables shoppers to easily find product information. Shoppers got their first look at the new Ann Taylor on Friday. Five percent of Saturday’s sales were donated to Second Harvest Food Bank.
