AT&T boosts Anaheim network
New improvements will increase data speeds for Orange County users.

AT&T has recently implemented local network improvements at the Anaheim Switch Center, which is one of four major switch centers in Southern California. These installations will guarantee the Anaheim area access to the most modern mobile broadband communications technologies. The new upgrades will allow AT&T users to receive data four times quicker that AT&T’s current high-speed rate.
“We are investing heavily in Anaheim … because we recognize that our customers here need the highest quality wireless service to take advantage of all the capabilities of today’s mobile broadband devices,” says Richard Porras, AT&T senior vice president. “It is our highest priority to ensure that our network enhancements are keeping pace with the growing needs of businesses, government entities and individuals.”
AT&T boasts it is the top provider of wireless, Wi-Fi, high speed Internet and voice services. The provider gives customers the capacity to talk and surf online at the same time and is roughly 35% faster than its CDMA-based network competitors, according to the company. AT&T was recently described as having the “Best Mobile Coverage in the World” by Business Traveler magazine and was ranked among the 50 Most Admired Companies by Fortune magazine.
