Irvine-based Boost Mobile continues to expand its handset lineup, this time with the Samsung Seek, the firm's first touch-screen phone with a slide-out QWERTY keypad.
The Samsung Seek is available with the company's successful $50 monthly unlimited plan, which offers nationwide voice, text messaging, e-mail and Web, among other features – without an annual contract.
“Boost Mobile continues to bring its customers high-quality, versatile phones that don’t break the bank,” said Neil Lindsay, chief marketing officer at Boost Mobile. "Combining the stunning features of the Seek with the $50 monthly unlimited plan makes this pairing the perfect option for heavy-texting, feature-craving wireless users on a tight budget.”
The phone is GPS enabled and includes a 1.3-megapixel camera, speakerphone with voice recognition, and multimedia, text messaging and stereo Bluetooth capabilities.
The new Samsung Seek retails for $149.99. It is currently available at Boost Mobile retailers and independent wireless dealers. It will be offered at boostmobile.com starting Aug. 25.
