City Ventures has opened sales at its Santa Ana artist-loft project, the homebuilder's first new-home offering in Orange County.
Located in the city's emerging Artist Village, City Ventures Santa Ana Lofts features 16 live-work units starting in the $300,000s and ranging from about 1,400 to 2,400 square feet. The lofts feature 10- to 12-foot ceilings, sweeping views and a design aimed at creating an "ideal environment" for studios and galleries, according to the firm.
“The culture and vibrancy emerging in Santa Ana’s Artist Village are perhaps Orange County’s best-kept secret,” said Mark Buckland, president of City Ventures. “In this desirable location with these prices, City Ventures Santa Ana Lofts will sell quickly."
The Santa Ana-based homebuilder, which first acquired the half-acre community in March, has been working with the city's redevelopment agency to finish the project. It is expected to be completed and available for move-in this fall.
“We sought out Mark Buckland years ago to undertake the live-work lofts in the Artist Village, so we were thrilled when City Ventures stepped in to finance and build this project," said Santa Ana Mayor Miguel Pulido. "City Ventures Santa Ana Lofts signal the beginning of a new and long-awaited wave of development activity in Downtown Santa Ana.”
