Colliers negotiates $4.9 million deal in H.B.
Modular Wind Energy will occupy the 167,778-square-foot industrial building.

Modular Wind Energy has signed a $4.9 million lease on a 167,778-square-foot industrial building on Skylab Road in Huntington Beach.
The deal was negotiated by Colliers International and is considered the largest lease transaction in West Orange County so far this year.
The move will allow Modular Wind Energy to relocate staff from its Long Beach operations into the new building. The company manufactures blades and propellers for wind-driven turbines – a technology that allows for more efficient generation of wind power.
The building had been previously occupied by Dynamic Cooking Systems.
“The previous tenant … made a number of improvements to the property, including extensive power and air distribution; a large, private fenced yard; and lunch and restroom facilities for factory employees, allowing (Modular Wind) to immediately move in and begin operations with no modifications,” said Collier’s Executive Vice President Clyde Stauff, who represented the landlord, DCS Holdings.
