![]() Headquarters: Orange chapman.edu Private Chapman University moved from Los Angeles to the city of Orange in 1954, a year before Disneyland opened. Those who were around back then may remember it as Chapman College, and it made a lot of buzz – at least locally – for its small classroom sizes and personalized education. It’s still recognized for that, along with its quiet, breathtaking beauty. Its majestic four-column Memorial Hall has been used for scenes in dozens of movies. While a Chapman University education doesn’t come cheap, the staff works hard to find scholarships or grants for the majority of its students. Perhaps that’s why Chapman was gangbusters in the survey, beating other private universities across the county. “We’ve proven over the years that the community has reason to put trust in the quality of education we produce,” says Chapman President Jim Doti. Chapman’s lowest mark of the five categories was 4.57 out of 5 – pretty high for a low mark. It scored highest in ability with a 4.8, and it landed a 4.74 in consistency. It also scored an impressive 4.82 for “capacity to achieve what they promise.” ![]() Orange County's 10 Most Trustworthy Brands Disneyland | Trader Joe's | Chapman University Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim | Mother's Market & Kitchen Planned Parenthood of Orange & San Bernardino Counties In-N-Out Burger | St. Joseph Hospital Vizio | Cal State University, Fullerton WHAT MAKES A BRAND TRUSTWORTHY, AND WHY IS IT CRITICAL TO BUSINESS SUCCESS?
