![]() Headquarters: Costa Mesa mothersmarket.com Mother’s Market & Kitchen appeals largely to vegetarians and vegans. The chain prides itself on its selection of organic and natural foods. But the stores do sell fish and chicken – mainly for families who want to prepare otherwise light meals. It’s just an example of how the company goes out of its way to meet the customers’ needs. Founded in 1978 by a group of friends who performed yoga together, Mother’s six Orange County stores serve about 50,000 people each week. The Santa Ana store, which opened in 2008, is by far the largest. And if there’s any question about its zeal for healthful eating, just read this tidbit from the Web site: “Organic, non-GMO, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, low carbohydrate, low-glycemic, low-fat, low-salt and more ... Mother’s has something for everyone.” The mission statement: “Truth, Beauty and Goodness manifested in the context of natural foods markets and restaurants.” Apparently, the company delivers. Mother’s Market & Kitchen scored big in all five categories, including a whopping 4.84 in ability. It also got 4.8 out of 5 for its commitment to customers. ![]() Orange County's 10 Most Trustworthy Brands Disneyland | Trader Joe's | Chapman University Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim | Mother's Market & Kitchen Planned Parenthood of Orange & San Bernardino Counties In-N-Out Burger | St. Joseph Hospital Vizio | Cal State University, Fullerton WHAT MAKES A BRAND TRUSTWORTHY, AND WHY IS IT CRITICAL TO BUSINESS SUCCESS?
