Deloitte, which has local offices in Costa Mesa, is seeking nominations for its Technology Fast 500, an annual ranking of the fastest-growing tech firms in North America.

Last year, 12 Orange County firms made the list, adding further proof that the region is a hub of tech innovation. Tustin-based AMDL Diagnostics, a Radiant Pharmaceuticals firm, was the highest-ranking local company, coming in at No. 19 with a five-year growth of 15,099 percent.

This year's ranking is based on the percentage of revenue growth from 2005 to 2009.

Companies within the technology, media, telecommunications, life-sciences and clean-tech industries are eligible for nomination by June 5.

To be included on the list, a company's revenue must have more than doubled in the five-year period. The firm must have 2005 operating revenues of at least $50,000 and 2009 operating revenues of at least $5 million.

Companies also must have been in business for at least five years and be headquartered in the U.S. or Canada. Winners will be announced Oct. 20.

New York-based Deloitte is an international accounting and consulting firm with more than 100 offices in the U.S.
