Sweet Style Productions recently hosted a dessert-tasting event, Dessert Oasis, at the Sports Club LA in Irvine. The occasion benefited the local non-profit organization Divine Choices, which aims to prevent sexual abuse and child exploitation at the local and national level.

Along with providing specialized workshops and coping mechanisms to sexual-abuse survivors, the event was able to raise a large amount of money for Divine Choices.

Over 500 guests experienced the taste of treats from 20 exhibits featuring Orange County dessert makers and had the opportunity to shop at 15 vendors - selling everything from shoes to handbags, according to a spokesperson for the affair.

Cakes, cupcakes, cookies and candy drizzled with countless amounts of toppings and more decorated the tables with the guarantee to satisfy any and every sweet tooth at the event.

The agenda for Dessert Oasis included:  A silent auction, raffle prizes, guest-appearances by Tasty Cloud Cotton Candy’s Nina Rodecker and the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars show winner, Annette Starbuck and a dessert competition with judge Christopher Russom from the television show Amazing Wedding Cakes.

The event also featured a fashion show for the clothing line SINGLE- made famous by celebrities such as Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lopez and Fergie.
