Destination Irvine is giving away three getaways to the city – part of its efforts to showcase the area as a top vacation spot and the "Center of Orange County."

The agency, formerly known as the Irvine Chamber Visitors Bureau, is offering the online sweepstakes in conjunction with the launch of its revamped website, destinationirvine.com, which provides resources and tips for travelers.

The promotion includes round-trip airfare for two on Southwest Airlines; a two-night stay at the Hilton Irvine, Hyatt Regency Irvine or the Irvine Marriott; a $100 gift card to the Spectrum Center; and two VIP passes to the Improv Comedy Club, which is located at the retail destination.

The sweepstakes runs through May 31, and one winner will be selected each month until the contest ends.

Destination Irvine partners with the tourism and hospitality industry in an effort to make Irvine a top Southern California overnight destination for anyone traveling on business or leisure.

"Irvine offers visitors diverse dining, shopping, golf and outdoor recreation," said Wendy Haase, director of tourism marketing for Destination Irvine. "With its close proximity to the area's popular beaches and famous attractions, Irvine is an ideal destination for a true Southern California experience."
