Fisher & Phillips' Irvine office nets high honors
The firm's local branch received a Metropolitan First-Tier Ranking from U.S. News & World Report.

Fisher & Phillips' Irvine office has received a Metropolitan First-Tier Ranking for management-side labor and employment law from U.S. News & World Report – Best Lawyers.
Nationally, the law firm – which boasts more than 225 attorneys in 23 offices – received a First-Tier Ranking.
The company's Irvine office is its second largest.
“This designation further validates the value our attorneys deliver to our clients and the commitment to excellence the firm has maintained since Fisher & Phillips was founded almost 70 years ago,” said James J. McDonald Jr., managing partner of the firm’s local office.
The publication based its ranking on thousands of surveys of clients; lawyers and law firm managers; partners and associates; and marketing and recruiting officers. Those polled were asked what factors they considered necessary for clients hiring law firms, for lawyers choosing which company to refer a legal matter to and for attorneys seeking employment.
“By dedicating our firm’s practice entirely to representing employers in labor and employment matters," said McDonald, "we have helped our clients benefit from a focused, businesslike approach to workplace legal issues.”
