The Hotel Hanford in Costa Mesa has named Irvine-based ELA Advertising its agency of record.

The full-service agency – which works with clients such as Warner Bros., MGM Grand, Intel and Asus – will deploy a communications program for the destination that includes brand development, public relations, social media, and print and interactive advertising sales.

"Working with The Hotel Hanford allows us to leverage our rich experience in creating and executing powerful, comprehensive programs that capture the voice of the client and strategically draw the attention of its target audiences,” said Andre Filip, CEO of ELA Advertising.

The boutique hotel – formerly a Holiday Inn – offers 225 rooms, six suites, the Savoy Restaurant and Lounge, a wine tasting salon, private dining area and meeting spaces.

Among the services ELA Advertising will provide the destination: creative programs, online and print initiatives, video production, photography, event planning, market research, media buying, and ad creation and placement. Additionally, the company’s strategic media buying, public relations and social media campaigns will help designate the hotel as a boutique luxury brand, according to ELA Advertising.

“When selecting an agency to meet our branding and advertising needs, ELA’s energy and fresh perspective became immediately apparent,” said Don Sodaro, chairman of Hanford Hotels Inc. “As an industry leader, ELA combines its team’s diverse experience with inventive and creative campaigns – elements that we feel are essential to success.”
