![]() Event Co-Chairwomen Nancy Dahan, an active family law attorney who serves on the board of directors of Human Options, and Scharrell Talley Jackson, the chief financial and administrative officer of Squar, Milner, Peterson, Miranda & Williamson, are heading up efforts for the fundraiser, themed from Love to Fear to Sanity. The luncheon will feature "Crazy Love" author Leslie Morgan Steiner, who will share her personal experience of graduating from Harvard and trying to survive domestic violence in her first marriage. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Irvine-based nonprofit's goal to help battered women, their families and the community to stop domestic violence. Guests are encouraged to bring gently used shoes, handbags and accessories for the nonprofit's Classy Seconds boutique in Costa Mesa. In addition, those who make a donation toward the event will be entered into a drawing to win a Saturday-night stay and Sunday Brunch at the Balboa Bay Club or a Nurture Yourself package that includes a beauty day at LeVisage Day Spa and six, one-hour personal training sessions with Bice Fitness Center. Tickets cost $20 each or six for $100. Registration for the luncheon begins at 11 a.m., with programs beginning at noon. Individual tickets cost $150. For more information, visit humanoptions.org.
