Iconosys boosts efficiency of app for stopping texting while driving
Newest version of the platform uses less battery power to function.

Laguna Hills-based Iconosys Inc. has released the newest version of its SMS Replier Pro with DriveReply – this time with battery-consumption efficiency for Android OS phones.
Version 3.1 of the application – which is integrated with a GPS system and offers custom automatic responses to incoming texts while a car is driving – optimizes the services running on the phone to use "significantly less" battery power to function, compared to other platforms, according to Iconosys.
“When using any application that depends on mapping and GPS technology to support its features, battery efficiency is very critical,” said Wayne Irving, founder and CEO of the company. "We have addressed this challenge head-on, and have in fact come up with what we believe is an excellent solution.”
The SMS Replier Pro 3.1, which is aimed at preventing texting while driving, is equipped with Iconosys' DriveReply technology, which can identify if a car is traveling at speeds greater than 15 miles per hour. And, it will send out automatic responses such as "Hi, I'm sorry you caught me driving." Additionally, the product comes with more than 50 preset timer-controlled replies, unlimited customizable messages, personalization, and the ability to differentiate between calls and text replies, among other features.
