The Irvine Chamber of Commerce is hosting weekly webinars during the month of October that are geared toward entrepreneurial marketing. The Micropreneur (an entrepreneur who manages a small business) Program deals with raising capital, marketing products, developing new business opportunities, managing finances and planning for greater prosperity. Robert Coleman, president of The Pacific Venture Club, will host this month’s program. The October session will feature various topics including interactive marketing, mobile marketing, becoming a brand magnet and emerging Internet services. The free web-based seminars can be found on the chambers entrepreneur site.

"With the economy recovering slower than expected, it remains a tough competitive environment for today's entrepreneurs," says Christopher Lynch, VP of Business and Economic Development at the Irvine Chamber. "October’s focus on marketing will give micropreneurs practical tips on how to market their companies effectively.”

The Irvine Micropreneur Program, launched in September 2010, is a weekly webinar series aimed at small business owners and entrepreneurs. The October program will feature “Master Interactive Marketing: How to Build our Business around Personal Relevance” on Oct. 6, “The Mobile Marketing and Communication Revolution: Have You Joined Yet?” on Oct.13, “Become a Brand Magnet – How to Pull Your Business Out of the Online Abyss” on Oct. 20, and an entrepreneur presentation Roundup on Oct. 27. The webinars will be held from 12 to 1 p.m.
