Irvine Scientific moves on plan to increase its capacity
The medical device maker's efforts include adding a new 23,000-square-foot warehouse near its Santa Ana headquarters.

Medical device manufacturer Irvine Scientific has completed the expansion of its Santa Ana production facility. Its effort includes the addition of a new 23,000-square-foot warehouse near its headquarters, which increases its capacity and supports its supply chain program, an initiative that seeks to provide stricter control of raw materials, among other benefits.
Irvine Scientific makes, designs and distributes industrial cell culture, assisted reproductive technology and cytogenetics products used in the biopharmaceutical industry, and research and laboratory environments.
The new facility holds animal-component-free raw materials in a temperature-controlled, high-pile storage space. It is authorized to maintain the supply, control and management of raw materials, and supports the company's two manufacturing plants.
Irvine Scientific was founded in 1970 in Fountain Valley and later moved to Santa Ana in 1977. The company is a member of JX Holding Group.
