Irvine Valley College hosts job fair
More than 35 employers are set to take part in the Oct. 19 event.

More than 35 employers are set to take part in Irvine Valley College's Fall Job Fair & Career Technical Education Programs Showcase, which is slated for Oct. 19.
The event is open to recent grads, students and other community members, and will connect prospective employees with company representatives.
Employers will be offering internships as well as paid positions for those looking to gain experience in a specific field.
Among the participating employers: Wells Fargo, Verizon Wireless, the California Highway Patrol, Childcare Careers, White Nelson & Co. and Century 21.
The day also will feature a resume preparation workshop for students, and faculty members will be on hand to discuss the school's Career Technical Program. IVC offers more than 30 career certificates that can be earned in two years.
It all gets going at 10 a.m. at the school's Business Sciences and Technology Innovation Center.
